A Novel Full Soft-Switching High-Gain DC/DC Converter Based on Three-Winding Coupled-Inductor

In this article, a new nonisolated full soft-switching step-up dc/dc converter is introduced with continuous input current for renewable energy applications. The use of three-winding coupled-inductor (TWCI) along voltage multiplier, enables the proposed to enhance gain lower turns ratios and duty cycles. Also, lossless regenerative passive clamp circuit employed limit stress across power switch. addition zero switching performance at turn-on instant switch, turn-off value also alleviated by adopting quasi-resonance operation between leakage inductor TWCI middle capacitors. Moreover, all diodes reaches slow slew rate, which leads elimination reverse recovery problem in converter. Soft-switching switch significantly reduces dissipations. Therefore, presented can provide high ratio efficiency. Steady-state analysis, comprehensive comparisons other related converters, design considerations are discussed detail. Finally, 160 W prototype 200 V output demonstrated justify theoretical analysis.
